Now that everything has been set up, we’re ready to run the stocktake. Before doing that, though, let’s go over what will happen once we press Start.

Once the stocktake begins, Cin7 Core puts some protections in place to ensure that there are no interruptions to the stocktake process. 

Essentially, the system will prevent any inventory changes in the selected location while the stocktake is in progress. This means that users won’t be able to receive the following:

• Purchase orders
• Stock transfers
• Write-offs
• Sales fulfillment
• Stock adjustments
